Jay Alonzo’s
marketing background helps him gain a clearer understanding
of his clients' photographic needs for their marketing
campaigns. As a long time instructor of photographic
lighting workshops, it is no surprise that the images
he produce highlight the beauty and strengths of the
product and clearly illustrate the benefits of the client's
service. Among his roster of clients are Super Bowl
of China, Big Buddha, Chili's, Victoria Court, La Corona
Hotel, Pearl Manila Hotel, Pier One, Kumon, Soda and Blue
computer laptops. |
He has also done poster and publicity
photography for the local movie industry with a string
of film titles such as "Mano Po 3", "Aishiteimasu", "Bedtime Stories" and the international award-winning
horror flick "Sigaw" (which is now being filmed as "Echo" for the international film market) to his credit. Jay is
a contributing photographer for Mabuhay magazine, Philippine
Airline's in-flight publication, and High Life magazine.
In between shoots, JayA teaches at the Alcove Gallery, Filipinas Heritage Library (an Ayala Foundation Inc. division)
starting out with the Technology & Livelihood Resource
Center (a government livelihood training institution)
in February 1996. He also teaches occasionally at One Workshop Gallery. He authored the pioneering "Primer
In Lighting" photo workshop, realizing the need
for a more in-depth and specialized seminar on the subject
matter in the Philippines. Aside from lighting classes,
Jay also conducts basic photography courses nationwide
and has taught for companies and institutions such as
Accenture Photography Club, Procter & Gamble, Picture
Company, Caltex/Chevron-Texaco, Pilipinas Shell, the
Civil Service Commission and even for the top executives
of Microsoft Philippines.
JayA has been tapped by Axis Global Technologies to
become the first official endorser of Olympus digital
cameras in the Philippines. He has also conducted several
photography training workshops for the company's promotion
and sales team. |
